I think part of the problem so Thursday was we had a mis match of a team in terms of rest and energy. Soucek played the full 90 I'm not mistaken against Chelsea just like he has week in week out. Whereas his partner Rice came off the bench.
If we are going to be able to really take the game to Frankfurt then we need the full 11 who are starting to be right at it from the first whistle.
I get the momentum idea but let's be fair is Rice going to go in for 50/50's is Bowen going to be busting a nut to close down their defence etc, why waste that energy that could be saved for Frankfurt. The results of yesterday went in our favour, we can afford the free hit, you never know players such as Vlasic, Yarmolenko etc might have something to prove and be in Moyes thinking for Thursday if we need a change in that game.

Need to take this game seriously, shouldn't be putting all our eggs in the EL basket!
Only a few league games left, win today and we go 6th, virtually guaranteed 7th. Can't keep hoping others lose otherwise we could end up with nothing to show for the season.
We tested players for Frankfurt v Chelsea and lost both games.

Play the reserves mainly, we need a proper performance on Thursday. Arsenal are lucky cunts, they always seem to get us in the middle of an injury crisis.

Yep he's gambled everything for Thurs night due to his reticent to strengthen the squad in key areas. I think even 7th might be a struggle but luckily Wolves seem to be doing their best to fuck themselves over.

We have a minimum of 450 minutes of football left to play this season plus stoppage time or a maximum of 600 minutes plus penalty shoot outs. I work 9 hours a day minimum which equates to 540 minutes. We need to send out our strongest team available from now till the end of the season. End of story.

The only problem with resting players is you lose sharpness.
I think 4 days is sufficient recovery time for modern players. I just feel like mentally having a hard game against arsenal will prepare you better for a hard game against Frankfurt.
